This package gives you a glimpse of almost all of India. You see the Kanha Project Tiger Reserve. Then we take you to Palace Kawardha, then to the Bhoromdeo temples which pre-date those at Khajuraho by over a century. Then we have Kanha National Park and the Project Tiger reserve which inspired Kipling to write the famous "Jungle Book". You tour the Golden Triangle visiting Agra, Jaipur and Delhi.

Tour Package
Day 1 : You arrive at Delhi. Check in at a hotel. Start in the afternoon on a guided tour of New Delhi visiting Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 2 : Today you go on a guided tour of Old Delhi visiting the Red Fort, Friday Mosque and Rajghat. In the afternoon you leave for domestic airport to catch a flight for Raipur. On reaching Raipur the Palace staff welcomes you at the airport and after a four hour drive you reach the beautiful Palace Kawardha. Meet your host Yogeshwar Raj Singh, son of Maharaja (King) of Raipur. Overnight stay at Kawardha.

Day 3 : Start the day exploring the palace grounds and visiting the Maharaja's Cottage and Organic Farm. Then a walk in the town among local craftsmen and silversmiths at work. In the evening you take part in the dance festival of the leather workers. Overnight stay at Raipur.

Day 4 : You visit the family hunting lodge and enjoy a picnic lunch. Then some more exploring of an Indian Maharaja's lifestyle. Overnight stay at Raipur.

Day 5 : Morning at leisure, then after an early lunch you drive to the Bhoromdeo temples, enroute visiting a Baiga Tribal village. The temples pre - date the more famous ones at Khajuraho. We suggest you to take a walk along the forest path to see bird life and witness the tranquility of the forest.

Day 6 : After breakfast two and a half hour drive to a riverside spot close to the Mukki Gate which forms the entrance to Kanha National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch and then along with the staff of Kipling Camp drive through the park. Check in at your cottage - style room at the jungle camp.

Day 7 : You start at dawn as this is the best time to look for wildlife. Take a picnic breakfast and then return around mid-morning to the camp. Lunch can be taken either at the camp or by the river. Overnight at Kanha National Park.

Day 8 : Today you further explore the Kanha National Park as you take a drive into the 1900 square kilometer park of hills, swamps, jungle and meadows.

Day 9 : Another day among the beautiful creations of nature.

Day 10 : After a final round of the park you leave for Jabalpur to catch the Mahakoshal Express train for Agra.

Day 11 : On reaching Agra in the early morning hours, you see the spectacular view of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Check in at a hotel as your breakfast gets ready. During the day you visit the Fort, Itmad-ud-ullah"The Baby Taj" and Sikandra Fort.

Day 12 : A one hour drive to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri for a guided tour. Then drive further to Bharatpur and check into the Laxmi Vilas Palace. In the afternoon take a cycle-rickshaw ride in the Keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary to see the mass of resident and migratory girds living and nesting there.

Day 13 : Start the day with a boat ride on the Lake or take a rickshaw ride. Return for breakfast and then you go on a four hour drive to Jaipur and check in at a hotel.

Day 14 : A day in the Pink City, visiting Amber Fort, elephant rides up to the ramparts of the fort, the City Palace and Museum. Also visit the Observatory and Palace of Winds.

Day 15 : Morning at leisure, you can relax or explore the bazaars.Then you drive to Neemrama Fort for a table d'hote lunch and then at the United Services Institute you relax and change. Drive to the Hauz Khas Bistro for a "Dance of India" show and dinner before you leave for the airport to catch the flight for your onward destination.
