Himachal Hills
During the days of the Raj the British travelled into the hill's to find suitable cool locations for retreating from the intense heat of the premonsoon and summer period. These areas gradually developed and came to be known as Hill Stations. The most famous of them was Shimla, known as the summer capital of India during the British Raj. With this paclage you also visit Nalagargh Fort, the Judges Court, and the Summer Palace of the Prince of Kashmir called the Taragargh Palace. The foothills of the Himalayas, overshadowed by snow-capped mountains form an impressive backdrop to the hill stations such as Dharamsala, Dalhousie and Shimla.

Day 1 : You arrive at Delhi. We welcome you at the international airport and transfer you to a hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 2 : Morning you leave for Nalagarg. On arrival check in at the 500 year old Palace. Rest of the day can be used for personal activities. Overnight stay at Nalagarg.

Day 3 : Start the day with a drive to the orchard, to see bird life and to have a picnic breakfast . Then drive up hill to the Ramgarh Fort to admire the magnificent view from the fort. Return to the Palace. A three and a half hour drive to the first Heritage Village in India. Rest of the day can be used for personal activities.

Day 4 : Today you visit places marked by history like the great Kangra Fort and the valley which is overlooked by the Dauladhar Mountains. Overnight stay at Nalagarg.

Day 5 : Leave by car for Dalhousie. On reaching Dalhousie check in at a hotel. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.

Day 6 : A full day excursion to Chamba valley enroute visiting Khajjiar. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.

Day 7 : Leave by car for Dharamshala and on arrival check in at a hotel. The rest of the day can be used for personal activities. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.

Day 8 : A full day sightseeing visiting McLeod Gange (now the seat of the Dali Lama), the Bhagsu Temple, and Dharamkot picnic spot. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9 : Enjoy a beautiful view of the Dauladhar Mountain range . The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.

Day 10 : Drive to Palampur, enroute visiting the Jwalaji Temple.

Day 11 : Drive to Manali in the Kullu Valley.On reaching Manali check in at a hotel for overnight stay at Manali.

Day 12 : A full day sightseeing visiting Manikaran, Sollang Nullah and Suphra Spring. Return to the hotel for a overnight stay.

Day 13 : Morning visit to the Rothang Pass and in afternoon sightseeing visiting Kothi Village and the Ralha Falls, Return to hotel for overnight stay at Manali.

Day 14 : Leave by car for Shimla enroute visiting an ancient Kali Temple. On reaching check in at a hotel for overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 15 : A full day sightseeing visiting Chadwick Falls, Wild Flower Hall, Tibetan Monestery, Nalreda, Chail, and Kufri. In the evening stroll at the mall.

Day 16 : Sightseeing in and around Shimla. Overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 17 : Morning leave by car for Delhi enroute visiting the Pinjore Gardens. On arrival check in at a hotel. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 18 : A full day sightseeing visiting Old Delhi and New Delhi. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day 19 : Full day excursion at Agra, main attraction being the Taj Mahal. Later you visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri before returning to Delhi.

Day 20 : Transfer from the hotel the airport to catch a flight for your onward destination.
